Moving day.

It is moving day!!! It is not the best time of the year to move since is the end of January. It feels chilly but the skies are blue and it seems like the sun is smiling at us! I sure am smiling! I feel at peace even though I am not sure what is ahead of us.
Finally the truck is packed with all our possessions. We start our hour and half trip to our new home. We are so blessed with a friend who drives up to help us or it would just be me and Mike moving all our stuff. We finally arrive at a land with beautiful mountain views. As we drive in the 1 mile driveway, we see the horses running freely in a pasture nearby. Kids are so excited and so am I.

We are able to fit half of our stuff in the trailer. Our friend has to leave back to Charlotte because it is getting dark. The next day move the rest of the stuff into a storage place nearby.
For two weeks we enjoy our "home". We are living off boxes but I don't care. I know God has the perfect house for us to rent. I continue to stalk the internet looking to see if a house becomes available but nothing...I start getting discouraged. But God reminds me everyday by his wonderful creation that He is in control. If He created all this around me how can I doubt his power?

And once again God shows me His power. While checking my junk email I use for craigslist I notice a post "House for Rent". I almost deleted but I decide to check. Its from a lady who had a house for rent back in December. The day we were coming to check it out she had called me and told me it was no longer available. But now the email says " Have you found a place to rent?". I reply and say "No. Is your home available?" "YES" she emails back! Praise God!!! This is a home in 3 acres surrounded by woods. House is clean (or so I thought!!!) and cheaper than what we had planned to pay!!! God is good all the time!!!
